Hello, I’ve decided to write a blog to keep people updated on my illness as time goes on. It’s mostly for family and friends, but anyone else is welcome to read as well of course. People are constantly asking how I am doing and what the latest news is, so maybe this will be a better way to give people the details.
On August 4th of 2106, my wife and I received the news that nobody wants to hear. My doctor told us that I had lung cancer at 44 years old.
I’m married to a wonderful woman and am now 45. I have a grown daughter who lives on her own and a 15 year old son. We live in the Cleveland area and I am being treated at the Cleveland Clinic. I am blessed to live close to one of the best hospital systems on the planet.
